Pre-Conference Events

Before the Lanier Trial Academy, the firm will host several networking events on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. All events are free to Academy attendees and details for each event can be found below.

Grab your master class materials and check-in early before the conference begins in The Grand Foyer of the resort.

A scramble-style golf outing will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the Woodlands Resort & Conference Center. To learn more about the courses, please visit their website.

We unfortunately do not have any open seats for the Golf Scramble, but you can still sign up for the Golf Scramble waiting list. You will be informed if you make it into the tournament.

Casual Lunch Provided, 12:00 – 1:00 PM

Shot Gun Start, 1:00 PM

Awards will be given for:

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams
  • “Closest to the Pin” (Male/Female)
  • “Longest Drive” (Male/Female)
  • “Best Dressed” (Male/Female)
  •  “The Duffers Award” for the worst team score.

(Golf Tournament Awards will be given at the reception)

The Lanier Theological Library features a comprehensive collection of books, periodicals, historical documents and artifacts with topics ranging from Church History and Biblical Studies to Egyptology and Linguistics. The tour will provide details about the architecture, aesthetics, artifacts, and resources of the library and chapel.

Shuttle transportation will be provided to/from the library. The shuttle will depart at 1:45 pm from the Marriott conference center entrance.

Plan to join us Wednesday evening at the Town Center Ballroom of the Marriott.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be provided as you mingle and network with plaintiff attorneys from across the country.

Jenny and the Mexicats are rising Latin alternative artists who have turned heads in Europe and Mexico. Their style blends elements of jazz, folk, and cumbia, with lyrics in both English and Spanish. Come out and enjoy some great music!
